How to cancel a dating subscription
A cheap trial that quietly renews is the most common complaint about dating sites. Pick the site, follow the steps, keep the proof.

- Cancel AdultFriendFinderAdultFriendFinder renews paid subscriptions automatically on the day they expire. Its terms say that to stop this you go to the Billing History & Credit Card Info page and turn auto-renewal off. The logged-in area isn't public, so we couldn't confirm the exact menu path to that page.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel BeNaughtyBeNaughty renews automatically, and a 3-day trial converts to a monthly plan when it ends. Its billing policy says you can cancel the renewal at any time before the end of the current period, using the 'My Settings' page. You keep access until the end of the period already paid.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel C-DateWe couldn't read C-Date's help pages or terms, so we can't confirm its menu labels or notice periods. The safe approach is to find out how you paid, switch off renewal well before the end of your period in your account or app store, and keep proof.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel Ashley MadisonAshley Madison's website blocked our automated checks, so we couldn't confirm its menu labels. The safe route: stop any automatic payment from your account's billing area on the website, or in Apple or Google subscriptions if you paid in the app, then check for 'AMDA' on your next statement.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel Victoria MilanVictoria Milan's EU terms say you can cancel online in your profile settings, via the 'My membership' page. The catch is timing: notice must reach them 14 days before the end of a 1 or 3 month plan, and 28 days before the end of a 6 or 12 month plan, or the next period can be charged.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel Illicit EncountersSome Illicit Encounters products renew automatically when they expire. The help pages say you contact them to cancel auto-renewal up to 48 hours before your membership is due to expire, and the terms say you end the agreement by emailing support@illicitencounters.com.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel SDCSDC's terms say recurring billing is switched on by default and it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time in Account information on the site. App Store subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the period ends.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel FeeldFeeld's Irish App Store listing says Majestic must be cancelled directly through your App Store account, and that cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Its terms say you will get a reminder about 3 days before renewal and have until the renewal date to cancel.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel TinderHow you cancel Tinder depends on how you paid. Its terms say subscriptions bought through Apple or Google must be cancelled in that store, while subscriptions paid by card on the website or in the app are cancelled in the Account section. Either way, you keep access until the end of the current period.Checked 19 October 2026
- Cancel SaucyDatesSaucyDates bills through different providers depending on your device, app and country, and each is cancelled differently. Recurring subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. After you cancel, VIP access continues until the paid term ends.Checked 19 October 2026
Three rules that work for every site
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there. Deleting the app does not stop the payments.
- Deleting your profile and stopping the renewal are not always the same thing. Do the cancellation first.
- Keep the confirmation, note the date, and check your next statement.
