Advertising disclosure
The short version: some links are ads, they're labelled before you click, and they don't buy a better review.

How we make money
Ireland Flings is free to read. It is paid for by commissions: when you join some of the sites we write about through a link on our pages, that site may pay us. It costs you nothing extra.
How adverts are labelled
- Every button or card that carries an affiliate link shows an “Ad” label before you click it.
- A one-line notice at the top of every page links here.
- Partner offers appear in a block marked “Partner site, Ad”, with a short note on how that site works and charges.
- Links that aren't adverts (for example to a help centre or Apple's support pages) are plain links and earn us nothing.
What commissions don't change
Scores come from facts we checked on each brand's own pages and are averaged in the open (see how we review). Lists are sorted by that score. We cover brands that pay us nothing, and we publish cancellation guides for every brand we review, including the ones that do pay us.
Partner sites
When a partner block is shown, you can ask us to create a free account for you on that partner's site by ticking a separate, unticked box. Only then is your email passed to the partner. Partner sites generally offer a trial followed by a monthly subscription that renews unless you cancel, and their own terms may state that some profiles are created for entertainment. We say so next to every partner form, and we suggest you read their terms before paying.
The rules we follow
In Ireland, marketing communications must be clearly identifiable as such under the ASAI Code, and consumer law, enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), requires paid placements in rankings to be disclosed and reviews not to be presented misleadingly. Labelling every advert “Ad” before the click, publishing our scoring method and sorting by score rather than by commission is how we meet that. Readers in Northern Ireland are covered by the equivalent UK rules.
Who is behind this
